Installation Instructions

To install the theme:

1. Unzip the package
2. Navigate to the folder containing the folders NSM-Curve_v2, Optional Hack, Sources
3. Upload the folder NSM-Curve-v2 to your BANS Store Themes Folder
4. Select the template from the Admin

To change the prebuilt colors and styles:

1. Make sure the template is selected in admin
2. From the template page click on this themes Modify [header.php]
3. In the header.php file locate these settings (should be visible):
   • $layout = "both";    // left | right | both
   • $color = "orange";    // pink | orange
   • $style = "light";    // dark | light
   The setting inside of quotes (") is what is applied. The Setting behind the slashes (//) is what is available. DO NOT ever edit any of these variables other than the wording inside the "quotes"!
4. To change background edit $style = "light"; to $style = "dark";
5. To change theme color edit $color = "orange"; to $color = "pink";
6. To change the sidebar layout edit $layout = "both"; to $layout = "left"; or $layout = "right";
7. Save your changes. Make sure that the above settings are exactly as shown. DO NOT remove the "quotes" and do not enter anything into the "quotes" that is not shown as available behind the //

To change the colors manually

1. Edit the CSS file as normal

To install the pre-formatted Search bar (OPTIONAL)

1. Open the folder Optional Hack
2. View the Read Me file
3. Open the folder for your version of BANS
4. Open your Stores Cont folder
5. Rename the Stores FrontControl.php file to FrontControl.bak
6. Upload the new FrontControl.php into the cont folder

To change the Additional Header Ad (holds a 468x60 banner only!)

1. In your theme folder open top_ad.php in a html editor or notepad
2. Delete the code between <!--Top ad Start--> Delete what is in here <!-- Top ad END-->
3. Paste your affiliate code between <!--Top ad Start--> Paste your code in here <!-- Top ad END-->
4. Do not remove the <!-- --> tags! Save the file and upload back into the theme folder overwriting the old file.

To change the Additional Footer Ad (holds up to a 728x90px banner)

1. In your theme folder open bottom_ad.php in a html editor or notepad
2. Delete the code between <!--Bottom ad Start--> Delete what is in here <!-- Bottom ad END-->
3. Paste your affiliate code between <!--Bottom ad Start--> Paste your code in here <!-- Bottom ad END-->
4. Do not remove the <!-- --> tags! Save the file and upload back into the theme folder overwriting the old file.

To edit the graphics

1. Source png file(s) are included in the Sources Folder
2. Edit files in your graphic software
